Specimens of this kind originally came to Elteria during the Cataclysm, then some of them seeped into this world when portals to other dimensions were opened. Their homeworld was discovered after the creation of the Artifact, named "Insatiable Maw," which allows its wielder to open a temporary portal and summon small tentacles from it. This world was named "Belly," and those who once caught a glimpse at it through the portal converged in only one opinion – this world wasn't just populated by creatures, it was a part of an unknown enormous organism.
