Controls[ | ]

Elteria GUI

Shortcuts displayed in the game GUI

Basic controls are pretty much standard - WASD to move, SPACEBAR to jumb, CTRL to run. The rest is prompted by the interface - all icons have keyboard shortcuts near them or via tooltips.

With TAB you can detach your camera from the cursor and use the latter to interact with icons and buttons in both Building and Fighting interfaces. It also allows you to build or interact with the world in any other way without moving the character.

B will switch you to between Building and Fighting modes. I will open your inventory. C will open the Crafting window.

Elteria hearts[ | ]

You can find these giant crystals on every island (except the small ones). Interacting with them allows you to talk with Anastasia. She will guide you through the first chapter of the game.

There are a few types of them - try to avoid islands with corrupted ones at first.

Islands[ | ]

Elteria is an archipelago of floating islands of different tiers, shapes and sizes. You can travel between them via big red jump mushrooms (found on the edge of the island) or via portals (sometimes found in caves below the surface).

Some islands are inhabited - players can claim them to build their fortresses or cities. There is also a mechanic that allows other players to seize claimed islands.

Dangers[ | ]

Boarmelon

An agressive creature - Boarmelon

There are quite a few ways to die - falling from the island into the void below, choosing the wrong mushroom on the edge of the island, inhaling toxic clouds from these purple ones; boars, skeletons, other players - you should be careful at first.

A couple types of potions will help you to stay alive - Health Potion and Invincibility Potion. They do what you would expect them to do - heal and grant temporary invincibility respectively.

Loot[ | ]

Starting with simple materials and items like wood, stone and simple gems to make the Neophyte Glove, you progress towards more complicated matters. The most valuable items are rare kinds of Gems you would use to create Artifacts, but to make them you need Ancient Blueprints - you can find them mainly in Treasure Chests, sometimes they drop from a creature or can be found inside of an object or rock formations.

Crafting[ | ]

After you find the blueprint and collect all required materials and items, creating the Artifact is quite easy - just use RMB on the blueprint to open the Crafting window.
